At just one inch thin, the 17-inch widescreen display has a wide aspect ratio of 16:10, allowing users to watch DVDs in letter-box format, easily view multiple windows at one time or enjoy the ultimate computer gaming experience. With approximately the same viewing area as a 19-inch CRT, the new display has a resolution of 1440 by 900 pixels—64 percent more pixels than the 15-inch flat screen iMac.
