To support our students, faculty and staff in moving forward amid the extraordinary circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, M State commits to continuing to provide safe spaces where learning, teaching, serving and working together can thrive. https://www.minnesota.edu/coronavirus/return-to-campus-plan
Face masks/coverings must be worn by all students and members of the public at all times on campus in public settings (e.g., common work spaces, public spaces, hallways, stairwells, elevators, meeting rooms, classrooms, break rooms, in restrooms, etc.). https://www.minnesota.edu/coronavirus/return-to-campus-plan/facility-safety-protocols
Students with a documented disability that interferes with the ability to wear a face mask should contact the Accessibility Resources office on their campus to discuss alternatives. Examples of alternatives may include a face shield or alternative face covering or exploration of equivalent courses offered at a distance, however for the safety of all of our campus community this does not excuse a student from wearing a face covering while in the areas described above.
